Your space should reflect who you are and what you care about. Adding a pop of color to your walls is an easy way to inject some personality into any room and put a smile on your face. "When you arise in the morning" is an inspirational saying popularly attributed to Marcus Aurelius. The words don’t appear in his Meditations; the earliest known printing is in Elbert Hubbard’s magazine The Fra (March 1914), as a summary of the teaching of Epictetus and Marcus Aurelius.
Marcus Aurelius (often referred to as "the wise") was Emperor of the Roman Empire from 161 to his death in 180. He was the last of the "Five Good Emperors", and is also considered as a great Stoic philosophers.
A powerful motivation for rising up in the morning & to live everyday with gratitude.
